There are multiple important links in the UV paint coating line, which are as follows:
We specifically provide suitable process flows and the design and manufacturing of UV coating lines for UV paints.
The design structure and purpose of the equipment correspond to the characteristics of the paint. The design of the equipment and the process requirements of the products are of crucial importance. Let me interpret them for you.
The products are wiped and manually dusted, then enter the feeding area. After that, there is an automatic dusting process, and then they enter the automatic spraying process. Next, they enter the baking process at 80°C for 20 minutes, followed by the UV curing process. Then, they enter the cooling and unloading process. After the products pass the inspection, they are packaged. This is the production rule for the entire production line.
Pretreatment Link
Cleaning: Methods such as solvent cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, or chemical cleaning agents are used to remove oil stains, dust, and other impurities on the surface of the workpiece to be coated, creating good conditions for the subsequent adhesion of the coating.
Drying: After cleaning, the workpiece needs to be thoroughly dried. Hot air drying or infrared drying equipment can be used to prevent moisture from affecting the adhesion of the coating.
Surface Treatment: According to the material characteristics, surface treatment is carried out through methods such as sandblasting and grinding to increase the surface roughness and improve the adhesion of the coating.
Paint Preparation Link
Selecting the Paint: According to the product's usage environment and performance requirements, select a suitable UV paint, considering its characteristics such as viscosity, curing time, wear resistance, and color.
Preparing the Paint: Prepare the UV paint and the corresponding solvent according to the formula ratio and stir them thoroughly to ensure the stability and uniformity of the paint.
Coating Link
Selecting the Coating Method: According to the shape, size, and coating requirements of the workpiece, select a suitable coating method such as spraying, dipping, brushing, or rolling.
Controlling the Coating Parameters: Precisely control parameters such as the speed, pressure, and spraying distance of the spray gun to ensure an even coating and consistent thickness, and avoid defects such as sagging, bubbles, and missed spraying.
Environmental Control: Keep the temperature of the coating environment at 20-25°C and the relative humidity at 40%-60%, which is beneficial for the leveling of the paint and ensures the coating quality.

UV Curing Link
Equipment Preparation: According to the coating thickness and material characteristics, select a UV curing device with appropriate power and wavelength, such as a UV lamp, and adjust the light source intensity and curing time.
Curing Operation: Put the coated workpiece into the curing device, turn on the UV light source for curing, and the curing time needs to be strictly adjusted according to the paint instruction manual.
Effect Inspection: After the curing is completed, check whether the coating is uniformly cured and whether there are uncured areas to ensure that the coating meets the required performance such as hardness and wear resistance.
Quality Inspection Link
Appearance Inspection: Check whether there are defects, color differences, flow marks, and other problems on the cured coating to ensure a smooth, flat, and uniform surface.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests on the coating such as adhesion, wear resistance, chemical resistance, and hardness according to the product requirements to ensure that the coating quality meets the standards.
Recording and Feedback: Record the inspection results in detail. If any problems are found, promptly feedback to the production department for adjusting process parameters
