Daily Maintenance

• Clean the exterior of the spray gun: After each use, promptly wipe the exterior of the spray gun with a clean, damp cloth to remove surface powder, dust, and dirt. For stubborn stains, appropriate solvents can be used for wiping, but be careful to avoid the solvents coming into contact with the sensitive parts of the spray gun, such as the nozzle and trigger.

• Clean the nozzle: The nozzle is a key component of the spray gun and is prone to being clogged or worn by powder. After use, the nozzle can be removed and the residual powder inside can be blown clean with compressed air. You can also use special nozzle cleaning tools for cleaning. If there is caked powder on the nozzle, it can be soaked in a suitable solvent for a period of time and then cleaned. However, be careful to avoid long-term soaking that may damage the nozzle.

• Inspect the parts of the spray gun: Regularly check all parts of the spray gun, such as the trigger, air valve, powder valve, and needle, to ensure that they are firmly connected and there are no signs of looseness, wear, or damage. If any parts are found to be damaged, they should be replaced promptly to prevent affecting the normal use of the spray gun.

Regular Maintenance

• Lubricate the parts: According to the requirements of the spray gun's user manual, regularly lubricate the moving parts of the spray gun. Generally, an appropriate amount of special lubricant can be applied to the moving parts such as the trigger, air valve, and powder valve to reduce friction and ensure the flexible operation of the parts. However, be careful not to let the lubricant come into contact with the powder passage or nozzle to avoid contaminating the powder.

• Replace wearing parts: Depending on the frequency of use and the actual situation of the spray gun, regularly replace wearing parts such as sealing rings, needles, and nozzles. These parts are prone to wear or aging after long-term use, which will affect the performance and spraying quality of the spray gun. Timely replacement of wearing parts can ensure that the spray gun is always in good working condition.

• Deep cleaning: Every once in a while (such as weekly or monthly, depending on the frequency of use), a deep cleaning of the spray gun should be carried out. Completely disassemble the spray gun, put all the parts into a special cleaning solution for soaking and cleaning to remove the powder, oil stains and other impurities accumulated inside. After cleaning, dry the parts with a clean cloth or blow them dry with compressed air, and then reassemble them.

Storage Precautions

• Store in a dry place: When the spray gun is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid getting damp and rusting. If the spray gun will not be used for a long time, it is best to disassemble it and store the parts separately, and apply rust inhibitor to the surfaces of the parts that are prone to rusting.

• Avoid collisions: When storing the spray gun, pay attention to avoiding collisions with other hard objects to prevent damage or deformation of the parts of the spray gun. It is best to place the spray gun on a special spray gun rack or in a toolbox to protect it from damage.
