The maintenance of the powder coating line is of crucial importance for ensuring its normal operation, prolonging its service life and guaranteeing the coating quality. The following are the maintenance contents for the main parts of the powder coating line:
Degreasing Tank:
Regularly check the concentration, pH value and temperature of the tank liquid. Add degreasing agent and adjust the temperature as needed to ensure the degreasing effect.
Clean the oil and impurities at the bottom of the tank to prevent their accumulation from affecting the performance of the tank liquid. Generally, conduct a thorough cleaning at least once a week.
Check whether the heating system and the stirring device are operating normally. If there is a malfunction, repair or replace them in a timely manner.
Pickling Tank:
Monitor the acid concentration, iron ion content and temperature of the tank liquid. Take samples for analysis according to the specified cycle and replenish the acid liquid or replace the tank liquid based on the results.
Prevent leakage of the tank body and pipelines. Regularly check the anti-corrosion coating of the tank body and repair it in time if there is any damage.
Clean the sediment in the tank to avoid excessive accumulation that may affect the pickling effect and clog the pipelines.
Phosphating Tank:
Strictly control various parameters of the phosphating liquid, such as total acidity, free acidity, accelerator concentration and temperature. Conduct detection at least once a day and make corresponding adjustments.
Regularly conduct tank emptying and cleaning for the phosphating tank to remove the precipitates and impurities at the bottom of the tank. Generally, do this every 2 to 3 months.
Check the filters of the phosphating liquid circulation system and clean or replace the filter elements in a timely manner to ensure the cleanliness of the phosphating liquid.
Spray Guns:
Clean the powder on the surface of the spray guns in a timely manner after use to prevent powder accumulation from affecting the performance and appearance of the spray guns.
Regularly check components such as the nozzles and electrode needles of the spray guns. Replace or clean them if there is wear or blockage.
Check the electrical connections and air pressure connections of the spray guns to ensure their normal operation and avoid leakage or unstable air pressure.
Powder Feeding System:
Keep the powder in the powder bucket sufficient to avoid affecting the stability of powder feeding due to insufficient powder.
Regularly clean the powder bucket and powder pump to prevent powder caking or impurities from mixing in and affecting the powder feeding quality. Generally, conduct cleaning at least once a week.
Check whether there is blockage or leakage in the powder feeding pipelines. If there are problems, dredge or repair them in a timely manner.
Recovery System:
Frequently clean the powder filters in the recovery device to prevent the filters from being blocked and affecting the recovery effect. Cleaning can be done daily or per shift according to the production situation.
Check the operation status of the recovery fan to ensure its normal air volume and suction. If there is any abnormality, repair or replace the fan in a timely manner.
Regularly screen and test the recovered powder to remove impurities and caked powder and ensure that the quality of the recovered powder can meet the production requirements.
Heating System:
For electrically heated drying equipment, check whether the heating tubes are damaged. Replace them in a timely manner if there is damage to ensure uniform heating.
For gas-heated drying equipment, check components such as gas pipelines, valves and burners to ensure there is no leakage and full combustion. Regularly clean the nozzles and ignition devices of the burners.
Regularly detect the temperature uniformity inside the drying chamber. If there is any deviation, adjust the distribution of heating elements or control parameters in a timely manner.
Circulation System:
Check the operation status of the circulation fan, including components such as the impeller, motor and belt of the fan. Replace or adjust them if there is wear or looseness.
Clean the dust and debris in the circulation air ducts to ensure the smoothness of the air ducts and improve the efficiency of heat circulation.
Conveying Device:
For the chain-driven conveying device, regularly add lubricating oil to reduce chain wear. At the same time, check the tension of the chain and adjust it in a timely manner if it is loose.
For the roller conveyor device, check the rotation flexibility of the rollers and replace the damaged rollers in a timely manner to ensure the smooth conveyance of workpieces.
Control Cabinet:
Regularly clean the dust inside the control cabinet to prevent dust accumulation from affecting the heat dissipation and normal operation of electrical components.
Check the electrical components in the control cabinet, such as contactors, relays and fuses, to see if there are phenomena such as overheating, ablation or poor contact. Replace them if there are problems.
Tighten the screws at various electrical connection parts to prevent the increase of contact resistance caused by looseness and lead to malfunctions.
Sensors and Instruments:
Check the working status of various sensors such as temperature sensors and pressure sensors to ensure their accurate measurement. Calibrate or replace them in a timely manner if there is any deviation.
Check whether the displays of instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters and thermometers are normal. Repair or replace the instruments if there are malfunctions.
Equipment Surface Cleaning: Regularly clean the surfaces of all the equipment of the powder coating line to remove dust, powder, oil and other substances, keep the equipment appearance clean and tidy, and also help to detect the damage and corrosion on the equipment surface in a timely manner.
Lubrication of Lubricating Parts: Regularly lubricate various lubricating points of the equipment, such as bearings, chains and gears. Select appropriate lubricants according to the requirements of the equipment and add or replace them strictly in accordance with the specified cycle.
Inspection of Safety Devices: Check whether various safety devices, such as emergency stop buttons, guardrails, fire and explosion-proof devices, are working normally to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during the production process.
