Lubrication of Each Axis: According to the requirements of the equipment's operation manual, regularly add an appropriate amount of special lubricating grease to each axis of the five-axis spraying machine. The lubricating grease can reduce the friction between the moving parts of each axis, reduce wear, make the rotation and movement of each axis smoother and extend the service life of the equipment. Generally speaking, the lubrication operation needs to be carried out every certain running time (such as 500 hours) or at regular intervals (such as once a month).
Lubrication of Other Transmission Parts: For the transmission parts such as gears, chains and pulleys in the equipment, it is also necessary to regularly apply lubricating grease or lubricating oil to ensure that they can well transmit power during the operation process, avoid problems such as overheating and aggravated wear caused by dry friction, and ensure the stable operation of the equipment as a whole.
Accuracy Calibration
Calibration of the Movement Accuracy of Each Axis: With the use of the equipment, the movement accuracy of each axis may deviate, so it is necessary to regularly use professional measuring tools (such as laser interferometers) to calibrate the positioning accuracy, repeat positioning accuracy and so on of each axis. Accurate movement accuracy can ensure that the spray nozzles move accurately according to the preset trajectory during the spraying process, so that the paint can evenly cover the workpiece and meet the requirements of high-quality spraying. The calibration cycle can be determined according to the use frequency and working conditions of the equipment. Usually, it is carried out once every six months or once a year.
Calibration of Spray Nozzle Parameters: Calibrate the spraying angle, spraying flow rate and other parameters of the spray nozzles to ensure that they meet the requirements of different spraying tasks. The spray nozzle parameters can be adjusted through professional spray nozzle calibration equipment or by comparing with standard samples during the trial spraying process to ensure the uniformity and consistency of spraying. Especially after replacing the spray nozzles or adjusting the type of paint, the calibration work is particularly important.
Component Replacement
Replacement of Wearing Parts: Regularly check and replace the wearing parts of the equipment, such as seals, filter cartridges and belts. The aging of seals may lead to paint leakage; the filtering effect of filter cartridges will become worse after long-term use, affecting the quality of paint; the wear of belts will cause unstable phenomena such as slipping in the transmission. According to the service life and actual wear condition of the parts, reasonably arrange the replacement plan. For example, the filter cartridges are generally replaced about once every three months, and the belts are replaced in a timely manner according to the degree of wear.
Replacement of Aging Parts: Pay attention to some parts that may age after long-term use in the equipment, such as the insulation layer of wires and plastic shells. The aging insulation layer of wires may cause electric leakage safety accidents; the damaged plastic shells will not only affect the appearance of the equipment but also may affect the protective performance of the equipment. Once obvious signs of aging of these parts are found, they should be replaced in time to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
Maintenance During Long-term Idleness
Cleaning and Protection
Comprehensive Cleaning: If the five-axis spraying machine needs to be idle for a long time, a comprehensive and thorough cleaning should be carried out before idleness. Clean all the paint, dust and so on inside and outside the equipment to avoid the damage caused by residual substances to the equipment during the idle period, such as corrosion.
Rust Prevention Treatment: For metal parts of the equipment, apply appropriate rust preventive coatings or use rust-proof packaging materials to prevent rusting during the long-term idle period. Also, cover the equipment with a dust-proof cover to keep it clean and protected from dust and other external factors.
